Personality
On the surface, Varos is a rather laidback and free-spirited individual. Never one to raise their voice or be prone to anger, the Viera can often be seen with a smile on his lips, enjoying the moment regardless of the situation. Despite his easy-going nature, underneath his smile is a disciplined and remorseful man who seeks to challenge himself and reach new heights for his strength and power, to protect the weak and atone for his failure in protecting Dalmasca and its people from the aggression of the Garlean Empire.
Appearance
Like his kin amongst the Rava, Varos is a dark-skinned leporine humanoid hailing from the lush jungles of Golmore. Serving within the ranks of the Dalmascan military, the Viera bears the scars of conflict, his palms calloused and weathered from years of martial arts training. The Viera trains frequently to stay agile and lean, maintaining his athletic build. Dark raven-black hair crowns the leporine martial artist's head, kept slightly long and mixed with white strands along the tips of his hair and ears. Bearing a striking pair of golden eyes, the Viera's features are soft and sharp, like the rest of his kin.
Hooks
Dalmasca : Although born within the dense jungles of Golmore and having spent much of his early adolescence in the great woodland, Varos left Golmore to seek opportunities elsewhere. Finding himself in Rabanastre, the Viera embraced his newfound home, going so far as to join the ranks of the Dalmascan military.Martial Artist : During his time in the Dalmascan military, Varos was always keen on close-quarters combat, in the shape of fist weapons. Taking up martial arts to expand his technique and strength, the Viera seeks to hone his craft, challenging other martial artists to further his strength and climb to newer heights.Mercenary : With the Garlean Empire's occupation of Dalmasca, Varos would flee eastwards to Othard, offering his services as a wandering mercenary. From Othard to Eorzea, the Viera is a well-travelled man, with many years under his belt.Debt : Regarding his finances, Varos is not the best at handling gil. Finding himself in debt with multiple people, the martial artist seeks mercenary and adventuring work to pay his dues. He probably owes you money somehow.(WIP More to be added!)
